In case you havent guessed it, the lead character in this childrens book is named after H.G. Wells (hence the time travel) and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (hence the detective). The incorporation of these two classic authors albeit a very small incorporation is a great way for kids to possibly become interested in some of the older detective and fantasy novels.
