Hass is married to poet Brenda Hillman, who was the third wife of four-times-married Michaels. The Cheese Board in North Berkeley uses playing cards to keep track of patrons waiting for service. The fourth annual Discount Tire Car Show with 50 cars will be held Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., outside Discount Tire, 3733 E. Fry Blvd. The show is organized by area resident Robert Hass to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association and the American Cancer Society. All proceeds will go to those two charities.
