    11 ask for Community Preservation funds  Nov 20, 2009
    The Louisa May Alcott Memorial Association is looking for $531,800 for a restoration and preservation project on the Concord School of Philosophy, which would also make Bronson Alcott s old school handicapped accessible. Emerson Umbrella Center for the Arts is seeking $185,000 for renovations to the Emerson Theater, which would replace seating and flooring with materials more consistent with the building s 1920s design.
