Bob had a great sense of humor (essential for all front line employees) and we shared an appreciation for the somewhat sardonic humor found in books like Dennis Leary s latest, but he also enjoyed a wide variety of fiction and films from the historical, northwest settings of Ivan Doig to the contemporary HBO series Cracker. Diane Carlson Evans, the founder and president of the Vietnam Women s Memorial Foundation; and the Very Rev. David M. O Connell, who now serves as the president of The Catholic University of America.
